Paper Jewels Exhibition, Seattle

My work is included in this exhibition in the Paper Hammer Gallery in downtown Seattle. Curated by talented Seattle jewellery artist Dorothy Cheng, the exhibition showcases six artists who use a variety of techniques to alter paper from its original state into wearable art. "The value of the jewellery is based on the act of this altering, rather than the intrinsic value of gold, silver, or gemstones and the works range from emphasizing the ephemeral and the enduring qualities of paper".The exhibition opens on the 13th January and will be up untill February 25th.

21st Century Icons exhibition

"If we were to design neckpieces that conveyed something about us - as Irish - to the world, what would they say? And what would they look like?"
I was invited to create a piece(below) for this special exhibition curated by Ann Murooney of the National Craft Gallery. The exhibition will be traveling to the Rathfarnham Castle in November until Spring 2012
